Irena Fischer is the founder and owner of Averista LLC, a full-service branding and marketing agency based in Vineland, New Jersey, serving clients throughout the Philadelphia region and across the United States, Uk and Canada. She founded Averista in 2004 and has spent more than two decades helping businesses increase their brand recognition, stay visible to their customers, and grow revenue through referrals and repeat business. Averista is a member of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI #127920).

Irena's career in sales and marketing started early. At 19 years old, she was selling $3,000 knife sets to strangers during a college break and discovered she had a natural ability to connect with people and close. After graduating from Rider University, she became the youngest Employee of the Year in Gannett newspaper history at age 21, selling advertising for the Daily Journal.

From there, she was recruited to sell advertising for a local health and wellness magazine. Within three months, she generated $60,000 in ad revenue for a single county publication. When the owners refused to expand, Irena saw the opportunity they were leaving on the table. At 24 years old, she purchased the magazine with two partners and launched what would become Averista.

What started as a print publication quickly grew into something bigger. Clients placing ads had no logo, so Irena's team designed logos. Then they needed business cards, then websites, then branded merchandise. The business evolved organically through referrals, the same way her clients grow, and that shared experience is what makes Averista different from a typical branding agency.

In 2017, Irena bought out her last remaining partner and became the sole owner of Averista. When COVID-19 shut down her print magazine distribution in 2020, she pivoted within days. Her team began creating clear, easy-to-read graphics from the New Jersey governor's daily COVID briefings and posting them to social media. The page's following grew from 500 to nearly 20,000 in a matter of months, and the business not only survived but came out stronger on the other side.

Today, Averista operates across five service areas: branded promotional products, brand strategy and graphic design, video production and photography, marketing strategy and AI-powered business tools. Irena leads a team of more than 10 specialists, including graphic designers, web developers, video editors, and a dedicated headshot management team serving large healthcare enterprises.

Averista's client list includes Village Medical, CityMD, Summit Health, Marathon Health, Traeger Grills, ReMax, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Alzheimer's Association, CrossCountry Mortgage, and Peter Swain, Inc. Her approach to promotional products is fundamentally different from the industry standard. She does not simply take orders and slap a logo on the cheapest option. She researches the client's audience, matches the item to the purpose and the person, and only works with vendors who have proven their quality over years of partnership.

Her clients describe her as a strategic partner, not a vendor. One mortgage broker Irena began working with 12 years ago went from a shared office with one employee to becoming a top 8% mortgage broker nationally, with 25 team members and a multimillion-dollar business. Irena helped build that brand from the ground up through strategic brand identity, targeted collateral, and curated branded merchandise.

Irena is a former Division I championship athlete. She played shortstop on an NCAA championship softball team at Rider University and logged thousands of hours of competitive play from age eight through college. She also holds a graduate degree from La Salle University. That athletic discipline, the patience, the tenacity, and the understanding that hard work actually gets you somewhere, drives everything she does in business.

She was also a Philadelphia Phillies ball girl during the 2008 and 2009 seasons, earning a World Series ring as part of the 2008 championship team and participating in the World Series parade.

Irena lives in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area with her husband and daughter.
